In addition to his better-known oil paintings, Vincent van Gogh produced nearly 150 watercolor paintings during his life. Though often lacking his distinctive brush stroke textures, the watercolors are unmistakably Van Gogh in their use of bold, vibrant color. Students will use the palette colors of Van Gogh to create watercolor backgrounds with their own silhouettes on top.
We can help you out when school isn’t in. $30 per participant. Students will complete a painting, sculpture or mixed media project based upon a theme. Contact us about arranging early drop–off and late pick–up options.
