Peruvian cuisine is a diverse and globally celebrated culinary tradition that blends indigenous ingredients with influences from Spain, Africa and Asia. In this class, learn to prepare traditional Peruvian dishes highlighting potatoes and peppers with a blend of sweet, salty, spicy and sour tastes. These dishes will bring bold flavors using spices and unique ingredients to create robust and complex flavor profiles. We will prepare Lomo Saltado (a Peruvian stir fry) , Papas Huacaina (potatoes with a slightly spicy cheese sauce), Anticuchos de Pollo (chicken skewers) and Causa (a layered potato dish).
