We’re launching a new program for kids to explore music and art with our latest partner, Music Together^® of Wichita. Join us for Gallery Grooves, a 45-minute program where creativity and music will come together in a fun-filled experience for children. It will start with an interactive music class by Music Together, where kids can sing, dance, and explore rhythm. Then, the kids will take an age-appropriate tour through our galleries, connecting art with their newfound musical energy. Parents and guardians are required to join their child for this inspiring and playful event that sparks imagination and fosters a love for music and art.

Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating Yoga in the Gallery event at Mark Arts. Led by a licensed yoga instructor, this session is for all-levels and requires participants to bring their own yoga mats and water bottles. Come stretch, breathe, and enjoy the beautiful gallery setting! This event is brought to you in partnership with Mark Arts and The Phoenix.

Join Mark Arts, Music Theatre Wichita and the Wichita Public Library for Art Together: Wickedly Fun. Get ready for a magical, fun-filled experience! Dress in your favorite pink or green attire that’s easy to move in and join teaching artists from Music Theatre Wichita for an exciting sing-along and dance session featuring songs from the hit musical “Wicked.”  After the performance, step into the enchanting world of Oz with a special story time presented by the Wichita Public Library, featuring the book “I Am Elphaba,” written by Mary Man-Kong, illustrated by Elsa Chang. Wrap up your Oz adventure by adding to our community canvas and creating your very own hot air balloon art project, inspired by “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”

Mark Arts’ Art Together program includes three dynamic components: an interactive story time, a hands-on art project, and a live performance or demonstration, making it the perfect outing for families to learn, create and connect. This free program is offered the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon at Mark Arts. Each month the theme for Art Together is different and features a community partner to offer fresh, engaging content. All are welcome but advanced registration is requested.
