Instructor: TBD Drawing Foundations introduces students to the essential skills and techniques of observational drawing using still life objects, reference photos, and a variety of traditional materials, including graphite and charcoal. Students will explore line, shape, value, proportion, perspective, composition, and shading through guided exercises and longer studies designed to build confidence and technical ability. Emphasis will be placed on developing careful observation and an understanding basic drawing techniques. Beginners are welcome, while more experienced students will have opportunities to refine their skills and deepen their personal approach to drawing. Open to students ages 14 and up.
